Take-Two CEO supports the purchase of Blizzard Activision

Much has been discussed the purchase of Blizzard Activision. With a strong investigation in the United Kingdom, both Microsoft and Sony have issued all kinds of statement so that their cases are favorable. However, what do the rest of the companies think? Given this issue, The Take-Two CEO, owner Derockstar and 2K, has issued a statement clarifying his position in this debate.

In a recent interview with The Wrap, Strauss Selznick, CEO of Take-Two, pointed out that Microsoft's acquisition is not only good for them, but for the entire industry . Here it is mentioned that, at the end of the day, it is the user who will define whether this movement was correct or not. This was what he commented:

Inside

We firmly believe that it is good for both Microsoft and the industry. It is a very fragmented market and there is enough space for creativity. Microsoft is our ally, and if this causes its business to be more powerful, it is good for us.

Although Selznick does not offer a possible parallel deliberation that is being carried out at the moment, he pointed out that each title is independent by itself and does not compete with something else , although there is some competitiveness in the market, this in Reference to the possible exclusivity of Call of Duty.

In related issues, Microsoft accuses Sony of blocking game pass in PlayStation. Similarly, this was how Xbox responded to his trolls in this case.

Editor's note:

Considering that Take-Two is a great company that is not strange to the purchase of various studies, his position should not be a big surprise. However, it is striking that his position before the exclusivity of Call of Duty is that each game only competes against himself, which is not entirely true.
